I always liked the melody, and when I heard it on the radio 
earlier this week, I became obsessed with the background accompanying music's rhythmic cadence. FINALLY I wondered 
about the lyrics that I never paid close attention to...

Maybe 'cause my mind was cluttered with other distractions 
at the time, so I couldn't focus as I would've otherwise..

Tonight I searched out the lyrics, and Pink Floyd had 
'got it' back in the '70's about the state of emotional 
inertia we were evolving into, so that we couldn't feel or 
be cognizant of anything beyond our little bubble, which 
makes it possible for people to market manipulative b.s. 
on all kinds of levels at us..
