The DOD budget in the face of spending cuts

With no existential foes except very pissed-off individual or insignificantly small groups, the Defense Budget is the biggest piece of pork, even if it is a jobs bill that takes those whose social and civic corruption would make them the John Dillingers and Timothy McVeighs of this century, if not for the training, pay, and benefits that are provided.
